This project involves fueling system repairs at three sites at Fort Irwin, CA. At the Bulk Storage Facility, work includes repairing secondary containment berm concrete for tanks 7706, 7707, and 7708; installing secondary containment liners for these tanks; installing a tank-to-tank transfer system for Jet A (F-24) tanks 7707 and 7708; repairing the refueler parking pad pavement; and constructing a refueler parking pad extension. At Bicycle Lake Army Airfield (BLAAF), repairs include constructing a new 12,000-gallon horizontal Jet A (F-24) storage tank with all necessary appurtenances, equipment, and containment; constructing a canopy for the new tank; and upgrading the Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) panel. At the Retail Fueling Facility, work consists of upgrading the ATG panel for the system that stores Jet A (F-24), Diesel, and Mogas in 11,800-gallon horizontal tanks and issues fuel via a dual-hose dispenser. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is expected to range between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Location: Fort Irwin, CA, approximately 37 miles northeast of Barstow, CA.
