The scope of work includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for the construction of the HYCC MAU1 & DH1. Questions shall be submitted in writing through the Public Question and Answer section of the online portal. OSHA Certification is required. 10.4% Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) participation goal required. General bidders must be certified by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the category of General Building Construction. General bids shall be accompanied by a DCAMM certificate of Eligibility for the category, and an Update Statement. The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to waive any formalities that appear to be in the best interest of the Town. The scope of work includes, but is not limited all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1.Construction of the renovation including, but not limited to: a. Steel framing. b. Concrete work. c. Carpentry and caulking. d. Roofing. e. Mechanical and electrical. f. Sitework Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) policies of the Town of Barnstable are applicable. The "Fair Share" construction goal for this project is a minimum of 10.4% combined MBE/WBE participation by state certified MBEs and WBEs.
