Round Rock Independent School District ("RRISD" or the "District") is a public K-12 school district in Round Rock, Texas that serves approximately 46,000 students at 7 high schools, 11 middle schools, 35 elementary schools, and 3 alternative learning centers. The District has over 8,000 permanent and temporary employees located at its Administrative Offices, Brushy Creek Complex, Technology Center, Central Kitchen, Performing Arts Centers, Transportation Centers, Athletic Stadiums, and fifty-six campuses. Question Deadline 12/10/2025 at 5:00 PM CT RRISD has installed the next generation advanced services network to support the District's technology requirements as determined through long-range facility planning, strategic technology planning and technical evaluation. RRISD currently uses Cisco routers to provide network connectivity at each campus and district facility. As technology continues to evolve and our reliance on electronic resources increases, it is crucial to have a robust network in place to safeguard our infrastructure and support uninterrupted educational services. This contract shall be for the purchase of new data center wireless gateway equipment. RRISD requests proposals that will provide the specified products, or equivalent, in the quantities indicated. 2.1. Round Rock ISD Data Center Diagram, see Appendix A below.
