Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Largo, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and one-story above grade road / highway.
The project consists of sidewalk, ADA-accessibility, drainage, and roadway improvements. Work includes removing and replacing existing sidewalk, constructing new ADA-compliant ramps and driveway aprons, installing new drainage structures and pipe adjustments, and performing pavement milling, resurfacing, and related restoration. The project also includes clearing, grading, concrete and base placement, updated pavement markings, and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) throughout construction to maintain safe pedestrian and vehicular movement. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price, as well as lump sum basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bidding Documents may be downloaded from Demandstar.com, free of charge. Bidders may elect to submit their response to this ITB by electronic submission through the free on-line services of DemandStar. All documents and attachments must be uploaded by the date and time indicated. Bidders who are e-bidding for the first time are encouraged to contact DemandStar or obtain assistance by e-mail. Solicitation responses uploaded to DemandStar after the solicitation response due date and time shall not be considered. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that its solicitation response is uploaded and submitted before such date and time. The City of Largo is not responsible for delays caused by power outages or internet failures. No exceptions will be made. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. It is the bidder’s responsibility to check DemandStar for final documents prior to submittal.
