The City of Mary Esther, Florida ("City") is soliciting bids from qualified vendors for installation of pervious rubber pavement that is poured in place and ADA compliant with at least a 10-year warranty as described in Section 3. City reserves the right to make an award to one or more bidders, who in the opinion of the City will be in the best interest of and/or most advantageous to the City Installation will be on an existing gravel trail that was recently installed with base material, a geotextile, and topped with 4-7 inches of recycled concrete base and rough level additional rolling and addition leveling may be required. Bidders are free to see the site or can request pictures of the site. Trail will need to be a consistent 5 foot wide with total linear feet of 1,200, but to form radiuses contractors should plan on additional materials and when finished trail should be consistent depth and feel for safe walking or wheelchair access. (Bidder should plan on a 6-foot width or 1,500 linear feet to make sure they have enough material to make smooth transitions and curves in trails. Any left-over materials should be left with the City of Mary Esther for future repairs and maintenance.). Trail material will also need to join two-foot bridges that are 6 feet wide. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a performance or payment bond, in a form and amount acceptable to the City, guaranteeing satisfactory completion of all contracted work.
