Renovation of a museum in Kingston, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

The bid proposal will consist of multiple contracts for Electrical, General and HVAC Construction.. The scope of work consists primarily of electrical work replacing electrical service along existing jetty, replacement of appurtenances, and restoration of concrete plinth at the Kingston Point Lighthouse located in the Hudson River at the mouth of the Rondout Creek. Kingston Point Lighthouse Electrical Restoration, generally consisting of installation of electrical cable/conduit, elevated platform and support appurtenances; removal of debris within lighthouse; replacement of plinth of lighthouse; installation of interior, electrical, mechanical and plumbing improvements at the Kingston Point Lighthouse located in the Hudson River at the mouth of the Rondout Creek, complete. This includes but not limited providing all labor, tools, demolition required to install all of equipment supplied under Contract and any and all other incidental demolition and installation work as identified in the project drawings, including but not limited to clearing and preparing the site for construction, access/logistics for installation, and coordination of improvements. Contract Term: 1 Year Question Deadline 01/09/2026 Every request for such interpretation should be in writing and addressed to the Susan Cahill, Planning Director at the City of Kingston , 420 Broadway, Kingston, New York 12401 or emailed at SCahill@kingston-ny.gov. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check payable to The City of Kingston or by a Bid Bond for a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, conditioned as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. All bid security, except those of the three lowest bidders will be returned within four days after formal opening of bids. The bid security provided by the three lowest bidders will be returned after the execution of the Contract or until 60 days after the bid opening, whichever is longer. A one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond and a one hundred (100%) Performance Bond will be required of the successful bidders at the time of contract signing. There is no Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Utilization Goal for this project but MWBE participation is encouraged. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any alternate proposal not significantly altering the bid specification.
