Renovation of an educational facility in Clemson, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

**As of February 6, 2026, the project was awarded to D.H. Pace Company, Inc, with an awarded amount of $48,816.25** Clemson University seeks an experienced supplier to provide and replace five sectional doors. This is a one-time purchase and will be awarded to one supplier. Work will take place in Clemson SC. Clemson University seeks an experienced supplier to replace the (5) old rollup/sectional doors located at the loading dock area of Lowry Hall. These doors are old and uninsulated. These doors will be replaced with low E glass rollup doors for more light in the teaching lab area along with electric operators for safe use. One of the doors will be a non-operable door with no electrical closer that will have solid panels for approx. 60". The operational doors will also have solid panes for the first approx. 40" for safety. Offerors will be required to remove and dispose of the existing doors off-site, provide and install new doors as specified herein. 1. Remove and dispose of (5) existing sectional doors 2. Furnish and install (4) aluminum glass sectional doors onto existing openings 3. Furnish and install (1) aluminum glass sectional door (sections only) no operable . 4. Cycle and test for proper operation B. Product Description: 1. Aluminum Glass Door model 521 is a sectional aluminum door appropriate for environments where maximum light infiltration and/or visual access is required. 2. Designed to fit openings up to 26'2" (7976 mm) wide and 20'1" (6121 mm) high, the Model 521 features a wide, 2-11/16" (68 mm) center stile, 3-3/4" (95 mm) or 4-1/2" (114 mm) bottom rail, based on door size. a. Includes clear anodized finish b. Includes (2) solid sections and (4) sections w/ 1/4 " Low E tempered glazing c. Includes manual push/pull operation d. Includes 25K cycle springs e. Includes 1-year limited warranty C. General Requirements: 1. The absence of detailed specifications or the absence of detailed description shall be recognized as meaning that only the best commercial practices are to prevail, and that only first quality materials and workmanship are to be used. All interpretations of the specifications shall be made from this statement. It is understood that the specifications or references to available specifications shall be sufficient to make the terms of such specifications binding on the contractor. 2. Components not specifically mentioned, but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use shall also be included. 3. The contractor shall provide and pay for all materials, tools, equipment, labor and professional and non-professional services, and shall perform all other acts and supply all other things necessary, to fully and properly perform and complete the work. 4. The contractor performance of the work shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. The Contractor shall give required notices, shall procure necessary governmental licenses and inspections, and shall pay without burden to Clemson University, all fees and charges in connection therewith unless specifically provided otherwise. In the event of violation, the Contractor shall pay all fees and penalties, including attorney's fees and other defense costs and expenses in connection herewith. 5. Any measurements, photographs, reference material included herein are for informational purposes only. The successful offeror is responsible for site conditions, project scale, and accuracy of final measurements. 6. The contractor performance of the work shall comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations. The Contractor shall give required notices, shall procure necessary governmental licenses and inspections, and shall pay without burden to Clemson University, all fees and charges in connection therewith unless specifically provided otherwise. In the event of violation, the Contractor shall pay all fees and penalties, including attorney's fees and other defense costs and expenses in connection herewith. 7. The contractor shall maintain Clemson University's facility in a neat and orderly manner during the entire course of the project. Clemson University's facilities shall be maintained in broom clean conditions at the completion of work each day. At the completion of work in each area, the contractor will perform a final cleaning of debris prior to moving the installation crew to the next work area. 8. The Contractor is expected to be able to perform the work with minimal supervision and should not rely on Clemson University to augment their resources Question Deadline 01/12/2026 at 4:30 PM ET Non-mandatory questions shall be submitted in the online . A non-mandatory but highly encouraged site visit is scheduled at the date and time indicated herein in order for offerors to determine information. Measurements and other visual data may be gathered by the offeror to aid in proposal accuracy. Emergencies are defined such as an immediate threat to health, safety, or property.
