MBE/SLBE Goal: 23% Perform construction upgrades at the Green Branch WWPS, located at 4200 N.W. Crain Highway, Bowie, in Prince George's County, MD, to include the following: replacement of existing heating and ventilation systems including associated ductwork, louvers, and dampers; replacement of existing two dry pit submersible non-clog wastewater pumps including related valves and appurtenances; replacement of existing flow meter piping and instrumentation with new magnetic meter and associated components; provision of temporary equipment, instruments, tools, and manpower to maintain proper ventilation and sewage pumping capacity; replacement of existing Pump Control Panel with Commission Furnished Equipment including field instruments and alarms; replacement of existing combustible gas monitoring transmitter, sensor, and sample pump assembly; replacement of Instrumentation Panel and all related electrical connections; replacement of HVAC and odor control panel, instruments, and alarms; replacement of Pump Control Panel and HVAC control panel-related electrical connections; replacement of existing Lighting Features; replacement of Pump Bases and other minor structural repairs and modifications; new wall openings and modification of existing openings, veneers, louvers, blank off panels, and metal doors; temporary pump-and-haul operation required to facilitate construction of the new pump station Isolation Valve; and temporary Bypass pumping system required for sewer Pump replacement.
