Renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbia, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility; and one-story above grade fire / police facility.

Scope includes full removal of existing roofing to deck and installation of a fully adhered TPO roofing system with 20-Year NDL Warranty, including: 1. New insulation system (mechanically attached bottom layer, adhered top layer). 2. New tapered insulation system. 3. High-density cover board. 4. Fully adhered TPO membrane. 5. New flashing system. 6. Deck repairs, including replacement of rotten or damaged decking. 7. HVAC curb raising. 8. Drainage element replacement or repair. 9. New ES-1 compliant edge metal. 10. All accessories for a complete roof system. Supplying all labor and materials (as specified) necessary for construction of the re-roof of the Municipal Complex/Police Station. Each contractor submitting a bid in excess of $50,000.00 must show on his bid and on the face of the envelope containing the bid, his Certificate of Responsibility Number, as required by Mississippi law. If the bid does not exceed $50,000.00, a notation so stating must appear on the face of the envelope. Proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and deposited with the City of Columbus prior to the designated hour and date. No bidder may withdraw his bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Bidder must deposit with his proposal, a Bid Bond or Certified Check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of his bid, payable to the City of Columbus, as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Bid documents are available via paper copy or pdf and are non-refundable. Plan holders must register for an account to view and order bid documents. Disadvantaged and women's business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. The City of Columbus reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregularities therein.
