The project is expected to be awarded on March 2026** The Work consists of furnishing all tools, labor, materials, equipment, and miscellaneous items necessary for the complete construction of improvements to an existing stormwater control measure and an existing drainage channel. Stormwater control measure improvements include a constructed wetland with a geosynthetic liner system, a biofiltration system, vegetated swales and rain gardens, a forebay, and associated inlet and outlet structures. Channel improvements include removal of existing concrete lining, limestone block walls, and vegetated concrete block matting. Other site improvements include concrete and natural surface trails, two pedestrian bridges, a boardwalk, revegetation and planting, and associated appurtenances and labor. The project includes excavation, embankment, grading, installation of new liner system, revegetation, planting, hardscape features, solar lighting, utility relocation, and other miscellaneous improvements. Bids must be submitted electronically via Austin Finance Online eResponse. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the City of Austin. Information on achieving MBE/WBE or DBE participation goals is included in the relevant procurement packages, and Compliance Plans must be submitted with bids when goals are established. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty of not less than five percent of the total bid. Performance and payment bonds, along with minimum insurance requirements, must be met. Minimum wage rates apply. The work must be substantially completed within 365 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with final completion within 90 days after substantial completion. The City of Austin reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor informality in any bid or solicitation procedure.
