Provide, deliver, and install at the site listed in the bid documents a Wastewater Treatment System that is a complete, pre-engineered system for wastewater treatment including testing and assistance with system start-up. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in the amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount bid. This serves as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the contract documents, execute the bonds on the form provided, and provide the required insurance certificates and bonds within seven days after the date contract documents are received by the successful bidder. By submitting a bid, the bidder acknowledges and agrees that the Equipment Purchase Agreement may be accepted, executed, or agreed to using an electronic signature. Copies of the bidding documents may be obtained and reviewed by prospective bidders at no charge via email request. All questions should be directed to the provided email address. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in the bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the project.
