Question Deadline 01/09/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to the City or Citys Representative. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by the City in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the City as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The scope of work is to move 1 fire hydrant, supply and place 354 yards of crushed rock, supply and place 576 tons of HMAC, and other miscellaneous work. Bidders must submit the required first-tier subcontractors disclosure form within two working hours of the bid closing time. Bidders whose bids and/or disclosure statements are received after the stated times will be considered non-responsive and their bids will not be considered. Contract documents and specifications may be obtained by emailing the Public Works Director. Contractors must be qualified in accordance with applicable state statutes. The city will only award a contract to a contractor that can demonstrate a satisfactory record of performance and integrity. The city may investigate bidder qualifications as part of bid evaluation and may reject a bid that does not meet public contracting procedures and requirements. The project is subject to prevailing wage requirements. No bid will be considered unless the bidder is licensed by the appropriate state board. Each bid must identify whether the bidder is a resident bidder and be submitted on prescribed forms with a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The city reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the city.
