Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Aurora, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The Board of Education of the Southern Cayuga Central School District invites sealed bids for the 2023 Capital Improvement Project - Phase 3. Separate bids will be received for General Construction, Electrical Work, and Mechanical Work. Bidding and Contract Documents may be examined free of charge at designated locations. Complete sets of the Bidding and Construction Documents may be obtained upon deposit per set. A bidder making the required deposit for the Bidding Documents, submitting a proposal accompanied by certified check or other security per the bid requirements, and returning plans and specifications in good condition within thirty days following contract award or bid rejection, shall have the full deposit returned. All documents must be returned to Syracuse Blueprint to receive a refund. Deposits for shipping are non-refundable and are the responsibility of the bidder. Attention is called to the owner's sales tax exemption, conditions of employment, and the requirement to observe New York State Prevailing Wage Rates under the contract. Bids must be submitted in duplicate per the instructions in the Information For Bidders. Bid Security in the form of certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid amount is required for each contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and accept or reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five days after opening.
