This proposal is to provide a Universal Term Contract (blanket type) for the purchase of approximately 2,450,000 gallons annually of Sodium Hypochlorite for the City of Columbus, Division of Water and Division of Water Reclamation, for use in wastewater and water treatment applications during the first contract year. The contract may be in effect through March 31, 2029, with an optional one-year extension. The successful bidder will provide, deliver, and unload bulk quantities of Sodium Hypochlorite (15% available chlorine by weight – trade percent) to specified City facilities. The supplier must also provide specified safety training sessions. Bidders must submit an outline of experience and work history with this type of material for the past five years, and have documented successful contracts from at least four customers with similar scope, complexity, and cost.
