Renovation of an educational facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Portions of the St. Catherine School have Siporex panels as the subfloor material. Due to historical flooding and poor ventilation of the crawlspace, the Siporex has degraded to the point of needing to be repaired, reinforced, and/or replaced. This project involves repairing portions of the Siporex flooring as per the attached drawings. These repairs are considered an emergency and are to be completed as soon as possible. This project will include mechanical / electrical removals and reinstatement. In addition, a new drywall partition will be installed to accommodate the flooring removals. It is expected that the demolition and construction phase of this project should take 2-4 weeks.
