Site work for a fire / police facility in Miami Shores, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The work consists of complete environmental excavation and removal of unsuitable soils, clearing and grubbing all vegetation including tree removal and disposition, as well as removal of all solid waste and backfilling to meet the pre-construction proposed elevations. The contractor must include all labor, testing, and materials associated with this scope and described in the referenced documents. Work is to be completed in accordance with contract plans titled "Civil Engineering Plans, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Station #18, Phase I-Site Preparation" prepared by MEC Engineering, the Soil Management Plan, Tree Disposition Site Plan & Tree Disposition Ex Tree list, Site-Specific Environmental Health and Safety Plan, Geotechnical Evaluation updated report, and Tree Removal Permit as noted. All site soil is to be assumed contaminated; excavated unsuitable soil and solid waste must be properly disposed of at a Class-I Landfill with disposal manifests provided. All construction debris is to be removed daily, with dumpsters used for loose debris unless removed immediately after each phase. Grounds must remain clean of all construction debris during and after construction. Contractor is required to include necessary dumpsters and/or proper hauling as part of the project bid. All work must comply with all requirements of the jurisdictional authority, DERM, and Miscellaneous Construction Contract MCC-7360. Contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions and specifications indicated in the contract drawings and complying with any addenda or requests for information issued.
