The scope is to furnish all required supervision, labor, materials, transportation, equipment, chemicals, and tools necessary to perform emergency repair maintenance on all generator sets under the responsibility of the Building Construction and Maintenance Department located at various facilities throughout Memphis and Shelby County, TN. The generator sets covered range from 18KW to 1000KW and include engines manufactured by Cummins and Onan. Emergency repairs will be billed on a time-and-materials basis. The Successful Bidder must be available 24/7, have an emergency response time of four hours or less, and be certified by Cummins to work on generators. The Successful Bidder must provide a cost estimate and receive approval prior to repairs. Work must be done in strict accordance with the contract documents and specifications. All sealed bids, bidder's qualifications, and completed bid envelopes must be received by the Contracts Management Office by the specified deadline, via hand delivery or mail to the Administration Building. Bids received after the due date will not be accepted. Electronic submissions are not accepted, only hard copies. Written questions must be submitted via email by the deadline indicated.
