Paving and renovation of an educational facility in Stearns, Kentucky. Working plans call for the renovation of a 7,938-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
As of February 9, 2026 The bid was high and may be rebid, pending the Owner’s decision. The work involves the furnishing of all materials, tools, equipment, labor, and supervision required for the completion of turf, bleachers, fencing, sidewalks, and renovation of the fieldhouse and concessions. Bidders are instructed to attend a prebid conference at the specified location and to obtain bidding documents from the designated provider. A 5% bid security and 100% performance and payment bond are required. The scoring of proposals is subject to reciprocal preference for Kentucky resident bidders and preferences for a qualified bidder. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and/or waive any informalities in bids received where such actions are considered in the best interest of the owner. The Work consists of: Replacing grass fields with turf at the High School football & softball fields. Create a new practice football field, new bleachers, pressbox, fencing, sidewalks, and renovations of the field house and baseball concessions. 2. The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, earthwork, termite control, Helical Pile foundations, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, self-leveling concrete floor underlayment, unit masonry assemblies, Metal fabrications, miscellaneous carpentry, spray foam insulation and air barrier, joint sealants, standard steel doors and frames, door hardware, gypsum board assembly, resilient wall base, painting, lockers, fire protection specialties, protective covers, mechanical, plumbing and electrical, and complete clean-up and removal of construction debris. The Work consists of partial renovations of the field house and Helical pile foundations installed at the baseball concessions at McCreary Central High School.
