Sealed bids are requested for cattle guard iron as specified. Bids are to be submitted in a sealed, opaque envelope addressed to the specified owner and identified with the project name, bid date, time, name, address of the bidder, and type of bid. If mailed, "Bid Enclosed" must be noted on the outer envelope. The bidder is responsible for timely delivery. Deviations or exceptions to the specifications must be fully explained and attached as a separate page entitled "Deviations or Exceptions to Proposal." Bid price must be firm for at least ninety days from the date of bid opening. Mill certified specifications are required for the W-Beam and square tubing, and must be provided upon delivery. Delivery to the specified address must occur within 30 days of the bid award. Quantities, sizes, and specifications for each item are outlined and must be met. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the county. The owner also reserves the right to negotiate a contract with the selected bidder and to accept or reject any portion of the bid package.
