Well Extension Project (Well's #39, #45, #47) The work involves extending three City of Tulare Domestic Drinking Water Wells: #39, #45, and #47. Well #39 (Del Lago) will be extended 40 feet using 8-inch column pipe T&C .279, 2.5-inch by 1.25-inch tube, and shaft. Well #45 (I St.) will be extended 60 feet using NSF 61 epoxy coated 10-inch column pipe .279, 2.5-inch by 1.5-inch NSF-61 epoxy coated tube, and shaft. Well #47 (Willow Glen) will be extended 60 feet using NSF 61 epoxy coated 10-inch column pipe .279, 2.5-inch by 1.5-inch NSF-61 epoxy coated tube, and shaft. Bid Security, Bonds, and Insurance: Pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 20170, each bid proposal must be accompanied by cash, certified or cashier's check, or bidder's bond, made payable to the City of Tulare for an amount equal to at least ten (10%) of the amount of the proposal, such guarantee to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fails to enter into a contract. The successful bidder shall furnish the payment bond, performance bond, a maintenance/warranty bond, workers compensation certificate, and all other insurance requirements identified in the Bid/Contract Document. The right is reserved by the City of Tulare to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in the bids received, and to evaluate the bids submitted and to award the contract according to the proposal which best serves the interest of said City.
