Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Lexington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 62,000-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and one-story above grade swimming pool.

The project is expected to be awarded on March 10, 2026.** RFI submission deadline will be: 2/6/26 Last Day for any RFI’s to be released: 2/11/26 The scope of work includes new construction of a Community Center consisting of four (4) basketball courts, two (2) indoor pools, multi-purpose spaces, offices, locker rooms, and associated site work in Lexington, NC. Bids will be received for a single prime bid contract, and all proposals are to be lump sum. Contractors must have the appropriate license as required under state laws for their respective trades, specifically a "building contractor" or "unclassified" license as required by the NC General Contractors Licensing Board. Each proposal must be accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check for not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or a bid bond for the same amount. A performance bond and a payment bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates, with final payment upon completion and acceptance of the work. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
