Site work for a mixed-use development in Lexington, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves improvements to an approximately 361-acre parcel in Davidson County, North Carolina. The contract is for an early site work package for about 134 disturbed acres. Scope includes but is not limited to site preparation for all fields, driveways, roads, parking areas, building pads, and an outdoor water park. It also includes sediment and erosion control measures, storm drainage infrastructure, sanitary sewer, and water line installation in accordance with the bid documents. Sealed proposals are requested for a single prime bid contract, and all proposals will be lump sum. Prospective bidders must purchase contract documents through Duncan Parnell to be considered an official planholder. All contractors must have the appropriate license as required under North Carolina state law. General contractors must have a "building contractor" or "unclassified" license as required by the NC General Contractors Licensing Board. Each proposal must be accompanied by a 5% bid deposit or bid bond. A performance bond and a payment bond for 100% of the contract price will be required. Payment will be made based on 95% of monthly estimates, with final payment upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the scheduled closing time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Question date 01/26/2026
