Statement of Work: The Parish of Ascension Utilities Department would like to purchase variousultrasonic water meters that absolutely must be compatible with the Neptune 360 softwareplatform and the Advanced Metering Infrastructure network that is already in place in the city of Donaldsonville. Whenever in specifications the name of a certain brand, make, manufacturer, or definitespecifications utilized, the specifications, shall state clearly that they do not restrict bidders to thespecific brand, make, manufacturer, or specification named; that they are used only to set forthand convey to prospective bidders the general style, type character, and quality of the productdesired and that equivalent products will be acceptable. The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity isnot in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business inthe State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to deem bids(s) non-responsive if vendor cannotcomply with these requirements. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject all bids for just cause.
