The project involves the purchase of four custom fiberglass pergolas in various irregular shapes (right angular, trapezoidal, and pentagonal) as part of a major facility project. Installation is not included in this contract. Delivery will be required in phases on an as needed basis over a total project duration of five years. Submitted pricing must include any packaging, crating, and shipping charges, if applicable. Materials are required to be in stock and ready to ship. Shop drawings must be submitted and approved prior to fabrication and should include all structural components and connections, specifying the exact locations for structural columns. Bidders must provide lead times for fabrication and shipping with their bids. Vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers may propose alternate custom fiberglass pergolas of similar design, provided documentation is supplied to demonstrate that the alternate meets or exceeds the specifications and performance of the base pergolas. Manufacturer’s data sheets, color charts, and product samples must accompany the bid proposal.
