The scope involves the purchase of two hundred sixteen (216) 9,000 BTU 208/230v 15 Amp PTAC units with an iRIB-18 soft ionization system and twelve (12) standalone iRIB-18 soft ionization systems. Installation is not included. Delivery will be in phases on an as-needed basis over the project’s five-year duration. Submitted pricing must include all packaging, crating, shipping charges, and factory warranties, if applicable. Shop drawings must be submitted and approved before fabrication. The specifications are based on Islandaire EZRK Series (or approved equal) PTAC unit, P/N EZRK09K9FAS10XL, and iRIB-18 soft ionization system (or approved equal). Equivalent products may be accepted if supported by sufficient information to prove equivalence in specifications and performance. Vendors submitting equivalent items must provide all necessary documentation and, if required, at no cost, provide supporting materials for examination, demonstration, and trial. There are requirements for Minority (MBE) and Women-Owned Business (WBE) enterprise participation, with goals of 10% for each. Federal Debarment forms must also be submitted with each proposal. The State University of New York may reject any or all bids.
