Renovation of a municipal facility in Westmoreland, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
1. The Town of Westmoreland Municipal building was originally constructed in 1963 and consisted of a town board meeting room, rest rooms, crew rooms and five bay garages for municipal trucks. The overall building is 4,900 Square feet consisting of 3,540 SF of truck bays and 1,360 SF of support space. Later in the 1970s (assumed) four more truck bays were constructed at the south end of the building adding an additional 2,800 SF of truck bays for a total building area of 7,700 SF. The HVAC system consisted of a hydronic boiler with fin tube radiation and unit heaters throughout the building. 2. In 1985 a 4,000 SF addition of a meeting room, library/history room, rest room, caucus room, conference room and office were added. The overall 7,700 SF building currently consist of 6,340 SF of truck bays and 5,360 SF of office and support spaces. The addition meeting room was served by a 2,500 CFM fan coil unit(FCU-1)in the mezzanine. The rest of the spaces were served by througth the wall PTAC units. A total replacement of the Town Hall's HVAC apparatus.
