Renovation of an educational facility in Wexford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 76,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility.
Work consists of approximately 76,000 square feet of roof replacement at Wexford Elementary School. This includes removal of existing roof systems, insulation, flashing, and edge metal, and installation of insulation assembly, EPDM roof systems, flashings, and edge metal as described on the Roof Table on the Drawings. Refer to documents for complete scope of work. The project will be executed under one contract for all work. Bids are to be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security must be included with each bid in the specified amount. Bids are not to be withdrawn for 60 days after opening except as permitted by law. The non-collusion affidavit must be submitted with each bid using the provided form. Bidders must attend the prebid meeting and shall only visit the site as part of this meeting. Bidders must register with the document distributor to receive bid documents, and are responsible for the non-refundable registration cost. Bidders are required to be properly licensed and must provide performance and payment bonds and insurance as required. The apparent low bidder must submit a completed Contractor's Qualification Statement prior to contract award.
