Description

Renovation of an industrial development in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade industrial development.

This Request for Supplier Qualifications is issued to pre-qualify piping and/or equipment insulation contractors for upcoming insulation work at the Saskatchewan Research Council. The scope of work includes insulating process piping and various types of process equipment, such as tanks, vessels, reactors, heat exchangers, and related components. Approximately 100 equipment items, each with an average diameter and height of 2 meters, require insulation. The project also involves insulating around 300 piping lines, primarily small-bore (2 inches and below), constructed from materials including PVC/CPVC, carbon steel, and stainless steel. Insulation activities will be executed in coordination with other project phases, including construction and commissioning, and will be completed in conjunction with other ongoing project activities.
