Question Deadline 01/14/2026 at 12:00 PM CT The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the construction of DOWNTOWN MONUMENTATION PHASE 1. -Base Bid construction of (4) four new brick veneer, cast stone and structural steel columns including light fixtures, string lighting, landscape and irrigation including all necessary sidewalk and curb demolition, concrete hardscape improvements, and electrical controls. -Add Alternate 01 includes the additional construction of (5) new brick veneer, cast stone and structural steel columns, in which 3 of the columns contain light fixtures. -Add Alternate 02 includes the construction of (1) new Silo Icon Monument composed of brick veneer, cast stone, poured in place concrete, electrical signage, and includes all necessary sidewalk and curb demolition, concrete hardscape improvements and electrical controls. Milestone date: There is a community event scheduled for Saturday May 30th. Vehicular access through the intersection of Main Street and Broadway shall be fully accessible and open. Any specific construction areas not complete shall be fenced off and protected for safety. Each proposal submitted shall be accompanied by a cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the maximum amount proposed, payable without recourse to the Town of Prosper, or a Bid Bond in the same amount from a reliable surety company as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the successful Contractor will execute a Construction Agreement with the Town, including all required bonds and other documents. The successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 115% of the contract amount, and a Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, as well as evidence of all required insurance coverage within ten (10) calendar days of notice of award. The successful Contractor shall also furnish a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount covering defects of material and workmanship for two calendar years following the Town's approval and acceptance of the construction.
