Additionally, select lighting within the showers will be replaced as indicated by the Contract Documents. BID BOND There is NO bid bond required on this project Tarrant County is requesting bids for the Corrections Center Inmate Shower Remodel for the Facilities Management Department. Vendor must bid all items to be considered for an award. Event pre bid meeting descriprion : Questions from bidders will be addressed at the pre-bid conference. Any vendor who submits a bid without attending the scheduled pre-bid conference does so at his own risk. Such applicant who submits a bid and does not attend the scheduled pre-bid conference waives any right to assert claims due to undiscovered conditions. SCOPE OF WORK: A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Specialized Resinous Coating: a. Surface preparation and recoating of identified floors. b. Surface preparation and recoating of select ceilings, including substraterepair as required. c. Removal, storage, and re-installation of restroom accessories. Including butnot limited to water closets, shower fixtures, screen walls, return vents, andtowel hooks. d. Protection of mirrors and existing surfaces during construction. 2. Light Fixture Replacement: a. Remove existing light fixtures and install new light fixtures as specified. 3. Ceiling Access Panel Replacement: a. Remove existing access panels and install new access panels as specified. 4. Removal of Existing Speakers: a. Remove existing speakers. Owner to provide and install new speakers.
