Renovation of a transportation facility in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility.

The work consists of the removal of the existing modified bitumen roofing system down to the existing concrete deck and the installation of a new modified bitumen roof system with new polyisocyanurate insulation with 1/8" tapered insulation. It also includes replacement of the existing polycarbonate canopy panels with new polycarbonate panels, and the installation of a wooden roof paver system with a glass and metal guardrail. This is a federally funded project through the Federal Transit Administration administered by MDOT, and contractors and subcontractors must adhere to various FTA, federal, and state requirements including, but not limited to, compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Buy America, Davis-Bacon Act, and other regulatory clauses. For bids over $50,000, the bidder must indicate their Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed proposal as per Mississippi Law. Nonresident contractors must include documentation regarding their home state's treatment of nonresident contractors or provide a statement if no such law exists.
