Renovation of a stadium in Lakeland, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade stadium.
The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified company to replace all wall padding at Joker Marchant Stadium, specifically covering the outfield, infield, and dugout areas of the baseball field. The scope includes a mandatory site visit for measurements, removal and disposal of old pads, and retention of existing Z-Clips on the walls. The company must provide all labor, materials, and equipment for installing new stadium wall padding. The replacement involves all outfield and infield pads, including dugouts, using 3-inch foam, 3/4-inch plywood, fully wrapped with Spruce green color approved vinyl, and a 4-inch yellow vinyl line on all outfield pads. Washer plate installation is required for chain link fences. Outfield wall pads are to be 8 feet tall and installed to the warning track level. Infield wall pads must be heightened to eliminate gaps at the bottom and meet MLB standards. Bidders are required to RSVP for a mandatory pre-proposal meeting and must attend a site visit in order to submit accurate pricing.
