Site work for a mixed-use development in Lakeland, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
Provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision required to form and pour a new regulation basketball court and sidewalk at the Wabash Resource Center Park Questions regarding this bid should be in writing and should reference the above Bid. Submit all questions to Brad Howard, Senior Procurement Analyst, via email at bradhoward@polkcounty.net or via fax at (863) 534-6789 by 4:00 p.m. on December 19, 2025. Qualification Requirements: Contractor must hold a valid State of Florida Contractor (GC) license or a Certified Building Contractor (CBC) license and have performed at least 3 projects of similar size and scope services as the prime contractor within the past five (5) years Liquidated Damages will be assessed at $200.00 per day. The Contract Time for this project is a total of 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and 150 calendar days from Notice to Proceed for Final Completion. The County hereby notifies all Bidders that Women/Minority Business Enterprise firms are to be afforded a full opportunity to participate in any bid by the County and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin. It is asked that Bidders make good faith efforts to use qualified W/MBE subcontractors in preparing their bid.
