The work involves Northville Public Schools Structured Cabling Systems, Project No. 25-NPS-SCS-01. Bidders must submit sealed bids as detailed in the bid specifications and proposal forms. Required documents include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the Owner and the bidder as defined by Michigan Public Act No. 232 of 2004, an Iran Economic Sanctions Act Disclosure statement as defined in Michigan Public Act No. 517 of 2012, and an Affidavit of Compliance – Criminal Background Check. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier’s check, money order, or bid bond made payable to Northville Public Schools in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid guarantee. Bids without these documents will not be accepted. Withdrawal of any bid is prohibited for ninety (90) days after the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, based on compliance with bid requirements, accompanying bid guarantee, and other required data. Bids may be adjusted by unit prices to ensure comparability with respect to required materials. The Owner may accept alternates in any order or combination and determine the low bidder on the basis of the sum of the base bid and accepted alternates. Provide all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to furnish, install, program, test and certify fully operational Structured Cabling System. B. All work shall be in accordance with the true intent of these drawings and specifications, and as required to leave all systems complete and in satisfactory operating condition, excluding those items listed under Work provided by Others. C. The Structured Cabling System shall include, but are not limited to, the following principal components and materials: 1. Category 6/6A Network Cabling 2. Muli-Mode Optical Fiber Cabling 3. Cabinets, Racks, & Enclosures 4. Professional Training System Warranties D. The Structured Cabling System scope of work at Northville High School shall include the removal, re-termination, re-labeling, and testing 3,312 Category 5e and Category 6 cables. E. The Structured Cabling System equipment and software shall be new, of modern design, and current standard production of the various manufacturers. F. The Contractor shall verify dimensions and conditions at the job site prior to installation, and perform installation in accordance with these specifications, manufacturer’s recommendations and the latest edition or revision of all applicable codes and standards. G. The Contractor shall provide any additional items, not specifically mentioned herein, necessary to meet system requirements as specified, without claim for additional pay.
