Harrisburg Site Cleanup. Required equipment must meet the attached specifications and delivery timeframes. All contractor performance shall be conducted in a safe manner and comply with all applicable Federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as installation policies. The contractor is responsible for all required documentation and service-related requirements, including installation access, and must coordinate as necessary with the site POC. All offerors shall submit their disposal plan, which must include the location where the material will be shredded. a. The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DLA DS), a Major Subordinate Command of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), is responsible for the disposition and reutilization of excess and surplus property for the Department of Defense (DoD). DLA DS Susquehanna requires professional services to complete DLA property removal. b. This PWS defines the requirements for the DLA property removal/mutilation located at 1500 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg, PA 17103. All work, including property destruction, recycling, and disposal, must be performed at facilities located within a 50-mile radius of DLA DS Susquehanna (5450 Carlisle Pike Bldg. 206s, Mechanicsburg, PA 17103). c. This is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The performance period (PoP) shall not exceed three (3) months from the contract award date, as specified in block 3 of the SF1449. All on-site work shall be performed Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0730 and 1530, excluding Federal holidays. d. The Contracting Officer (KO) may grant an extension due to extenuating circumstances. The Contractor must submit a formal written request for an extension to the KO no later than ten (10) business days prior to the end of the PoP. The request must detail the reasons for the delay, include substantiated supporting documentation, and provide an estimated date for completion.
