The scope of work is to provide competitive pricing for the construction of five crushed rock parking spaces and one ADA compliant parking space, along with a day use pavilion, information kiosk, asphalt driveway connection, and concrete sidewalk in accordance with plans and specifications. All work must comply with the contract documents and Chapter 255 of the Florida Statutes. Work requirements include adhering to all referenced and attached contract documents, including any modifications, agreement, addenda, terms and conditions, invitation to bid, drawings and specifications, and permits. Technical specifications and construction plans are available by requesting them via email with a completed Confidentiality Exemption Form. Bidders must submit all bids in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the outside with the solicitation number and date and time of the solicitation opening. Digital submissions are not accepted. The Commission is not responsible for improperly marked or late submissions due to delivery service complications. A mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit is required for bid responsiveness. Bidders must attend the entire meeting and are encouraged to bring subcontractors. Use of drones is not allowed at the project site during the solicitation. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to the Procurement Manager by the specified deadline. Bidders are not permitted to contact Commission employees or officers about the solicitation outside of official channels. Question Deadline 01/16/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Online question deadline Any questions from Bidders concerning this project that require the Commission to provide an official answer shall be submitted in writing to the Procurement Manager. This includes specification inquiries, such as questions or requests for additional or altered terms and conditions. Questions to the Procurement Manager shall not constitute formal protest of the specifications or of the solicitation. Questions must be received no later than the date and time specified in the Calendar of Events.
