Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Jamestown, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

Letters of Interest with qualifications statements and SF-254 are to be submitted for engineering services for repairs needed at the Emergency Responder Training Center Building (ERTC #1) located at 5900 Stanford Road, Jamestown, NC. The building provides a simulated environment for Fire Academy trainees and has suffered damage due to excessive heat and water. A recent structural analysis found the building structurally sound overall, but large portions require repair by removing concrete slabs and rebuilding. New waterproofing systems are also needed. The selected design team will use provided reports as the basis for design, develop bid documents, manage the bid process, and provide construction administration and inspection services for the repairs. Short-listed firms and finalist firms will be required to interview in person on the Jamestown Campus. Submit three (3) copies of a Letter of Interest, Qualifications Statement, and SF-254 in 8.5"x 11" pages, stapled in the upper lefthand corner, not exceeding ten pages (cover letter and SF-254 are additional pages). Email and fax submittals will not be accepted.
