SCOPE OF WORK This project consists of the successful Bidder furnishing all qualified personnel,supervision, labor, services, materials, equipment, facilities, travel, overhead and incidentals necessary for the excavation and clearing of East T.C. Jester Stormwater Detention Basin. The work to be performed by the Bidder shall include, but are not limited to, the following: The clearing and excavation of Detention Basin 1B. The proposed detention facility is designed with a wetbottom configuration. The basin will feature 4:1 side slopes, a 30-foot-wide maintenance berm, and a tree buffer around the perimeter along Cypresswood Drive and TC Jester Blvd. Construction activities will include site clearing and grubbing, installation of water quality features, outfall piping and manholes, riprap armoring of slopes, site grading, and the development of maintenance access paths, all in accordance with the approved plans. This project includes removal 1,498,988 cubic yards of dirt, Removal of RCP (reinforced concrete pipe), construction of Headwalls with Wings, all weather road, access ramp, handrails, installation of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) pipe, manhole, concrete driveway, floatable screen system, and riprap armoring of slopes. Bidder may receive input from the County and shall take such input under advisement.
