The work may include resurfacing, reconstruction, utility and drainage work, as well as excavation as required by the Town of Bedford in the Local Road rehabilitation program. The program will include approximately $4.2M of work over two years, 2026-2027, and may include the entirety or segments of the following roads: Aspen Lane, Balsam Court, Bedford Street, Bellemore Drive, Bourbon Street, Briar Court, Buttonwood Road, Cajun Court, Camelot Road, Campbell Road, Cotton Circle, Covenant Way, Greeley Hill Road, Hersey Street, Kalmia Way, Keene Street, Liberty Hill Road, Line Road, Mack Street, Ministerial Branch, Neighborhood Court, North Amherst Road, Orchard Hill Circle, Palomino Lane, Plains Road, Plummer Hill Road, Rockwood Court, Rolling Woods Drive, Ruth Street, Seton Drive, Stonehenge Road, Tiffany Lane, Wayside Drive, West Drive, White Avenue, Whisper Drive, Whittemore Street, Willowbrook Court, and Woodbury Lane, as well as other roads as directed by the Town. The Town reserves the right to remove or replace roads in the program as needs arise, or to cease work on the project in the event that all dedicated monies have been expended. Approximately $2.0M of work will need to be accomplished in 2026, and approximately $2.2M of work will need to be accomplished in 2027. All work shall be done in accordance with the contract documents and specifications prepared by the Town of Bedford, New Hampshire. Bidders must supply all the information required by the proposal forms. A certified check, drawn upon a state or national bank, or a bid bond, in the penal sum of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price will be required with each bid. The Town of Bedford reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within sixty (60) days from bid opening. Pre-qualification requirements: All Bidders must be prequalified by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. The prequalification Statement is due together with the bid submission.
