Description: Project consists of exterior and interior entry door and frame replacement at 3 Schools. 1. Blackhawk Elementary School: Exterior aluminum storefront and hollow metal entry door and frame removal and installation including access control where indicated. 2. Freeport Middle School: Project Consists of: Exterior aluminum storefront entry door and frame removal and installation including access control where indicated. 3. Freeport High School: Project Consists of: Interior hollow metal door frame and wood door removal and installation including access control where indicated. Project Locations: a. Blackhawk Elementary School, 1401 South Blackhawk Avenue, Freeport, Illinois 61032. b. Freeport Middle School, 701 West Empire Street, Freeport, Illinois 61032. c. Freeport High School, 701 West Moseley Street, Freeport, Illinois 61032. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract sum, on AIA Document A312-2010, as issued by the American Institute of Architects. Bid Security is required in the form of a Bid Bond, AIA Document A310-2010 in an amount equal to not less than ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid and all Additive Alternates. B. It is the Owner's intent to issue a Notice of Award to the successful Bidder within thirty (30) calendar days of the Bid Date. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
