The City of Kelowna is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to complete upgrades to the existing Quailway Lift Station including replacement and installation of new process mechanical equipment, electrical kiosk and controls, standby generator, and structural concrete pads, Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) lift station lid and valve chamber, as well as all civil works required to supply a new 600V electrical service to the site. Work will also include all necessary temporary facilities such as sanitary bypass pumping as required to complete the lift station upgrades. The Work can be briefly summarized as follows: Replacement of existing lift station process mechanical components, including but not limited to submersible pumps, internal piping and valves Replacement of existing lift station lid with new FRP lid, above ground valve chamber, and odour control filter media box Replacement of existing natural gas generator with new diesel generator Replacement of existing electrical control kiosk and wiring with new control kiosk and wiring Civil site removals and civil site earthworks, road structure and paving Installation of new pigging port with connection to existing forcemain Installation of structural concrete equipment pads Coordination with Fortis BC Electrical and Installation of Civil works for new 600 V service Coordination with Fortis BC Gas for abandonment of existing service Sanitary bypass pumping Site fencing and landscape restoration Documents can be obtained from https://kelowna.bonfirehub.ca/opportunities/99419
