Site work, paving, outdoor lighting and new construction of a stadium in Commerce, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 12,000-square-foot, one-story above grade, 1,250-seat stadium; for site work for a stadium; for outdoor lighting for a stadium; and for paving for a stadium.
A single stall will house up to 200+ horses for shows and equine studies. The size of the AMETC premises opens up the possibility of a second 100-horse stall to be added in the future. The AMETC will accommodate up to 300 people and house a versatile multipurpose room that can be configured into separate classrooms, research laboratories, or opened up entirely to create an exhibition space for events and educational programs. The Rodeo Tem and Livestock Expo Arena - The larger arena will seat up to 1,250 spectators, and can accommodate up to 3,000 people for concerts, with standing room for 1,750 and capacity for future expansion. Phase II will add 12,000 square feet of experiential learning space, including classrooms and labs, with room to expand in future phases. As of February 23, 2026, the project is currently under construction, with substantial completion timeline of May 2026.
