Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Gilbane-Flintco JV, acting as Construction Manager-at-Risk for Houston First, is soliciting proposals from qualified subcontractors for the George R. Brown Convention Center and Convention District Transformation Project, specifically for the installation of a 16-inch waterline on Rusk Street. Bidders must have installed and put into service at least 5,000 linear feet of 16-inch diameter or larger water line in the past three years within the Houston region under similar project conditions. Bidders are required to have a fully functioning, equipped, and staffed office located in Harris County or an adjoining county. Sealed proposals must be delivered to Gilbane Building Company, 811 Main St., Suite 2450, Houston, Texas 77002. Proposals should include the anticipated percentage of participation by subcontractors, sub-tier contractors, or material suppliers. Participation by MWBE/HUB is encouraged. Houston First reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all proposals.
