Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies, disposal costs, traffic control, vehicles, fuel, crane/hoist, permits, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide routine and non-routine tree trimming services to Caltrans. Refer to the Proposed Form of Agreement, Exhibit A, for a more complete description of services. Bidder must possess a C49 Tree and Palm Contractor license, C-31 Construction Zone Traffic Control Contractor license, a valid Arborist Certification from the International Society of Arboriculture, Line-clearance Tree Trimmer certification and annual training as defined by OSHA 1910.269, Crane Operator Certification from NCCCO as defined by Title 8 CCR 5006.1, appropriate CSLB license classification, valid registration with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), and a valid Motor Carrier Permit from the California DMV. Failure to provide the required qualifications will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. Quotation prices/rates must include all employer payments to or on behalf of employees, subsistence, travel, compensation insurance premiums, unemployment contributions, social security taxes, contract bond premiums, and any other taxes or assessments. No additional allowance will be made unless specifically provided in the Agreement. The total price quote proposal must not exceed $461,000.00. A bid amount over this will be deemed non-responsive and rejected. No State agency or department shall award a public works contract to a bidder or contractor who has, in the preceding five years, been convicted of violating State or Federal law regarding the employment of undocumented workers.
