Project: Ridgecrest Elementary Addition & Renovation. Submit sealed bids to Mid-Del Public Schools. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for opening bids, as well as bids received after the time set for opening bids, will not be considered and will be returned unopened. If your bid is under $50,000.00, you may email it by 10:00 A.M. on bid day. For bids in excess of $50,000.00, a Cashier's Check, certified check, or surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder. No Bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids for a period of at least forty-five (45) days. There shall be no shutdown of electricity, water, sanitary/storm sewers, or heat during the life of the project unless approved in writing by Mid-Del. The Contractor will be responsible for providing temporary air conditioning or heating for those areas which are scheduled to be occupied for school use and the Contractor has demolished the existing air conditioning or heating system. Maintain minimum corridor temperature at 68degreeF during heating season. Commencement of each phase of work in existing classrooms shall not occur until enough materials and equipment are available for the particular phase, and sufficient numbers of workmen are available to execute the work in the time period indicated.
