Renovation of an educational facility in Liberty, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality. The Vendor is presumed to completely accept the Bid requirements as stated herein. Bidders having questions concerning ITB terminology, general or specific conditions should submit them in writing to the Director of Purchasing at jason.breit@lps53.org. The Vendor must raise any questions regarding the Bid requirements no later than January 2, 2026, 3:00 PM CST so that appropriate information may be researched and made available prior to the bid opening Scope of Work: A. Removal and disposal of all old existing doors, frames, glass and associated materials will be the responsibility of the contractor. All wiring to be salvaged and pulled back out and away from frames to be reused. B. Ordering, delivery and installation of new doors, frames and associated hardware/materials for this scope of work will be the responsibility of the contractor. C. Before ordering, shop drawings with clear detail of all associated materials shall be provided to Liberty Public Schools for approval prior to placing order. D. Demo and installation of new doors and systems will be coordinated with Justin Presson, our Project Manager E. Please provide lead times at time of submitting a quote. F. The integration of the burglar and door control system will be by others, a pathway with pull string will be the responsibility of the contractor installing doors and frames. Coordinate location of these items with the Owner. G. All wiring is to be concealed inside the frames, no surface mount unless approved by the District prior to installation. H. It is the responsibility of the contractor to secure the site each night before leaving, if doors are not able to be locked or glass is not installed temporary means to secure the property will be the responsibility of the contractor. I. Any electrical associated with installation is the responsibility of the contractor, this included if ADA operators are present. If ADA operators are present, the contractor is to make sure buttons are installed and functioning properly which would include all associated wiring. J. Caulking inside and outside of frames is the responsibility of the contractor. K. Field Measurements: Verify actual dimensions of openings by field measurements before fabrication. L. Mandatory pre-construction with Contractor and Owner before work is to start.
