Renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum; and theater / auditorium.
The general scope is as follows: Provide approximately 186kW AC, 162 kW DC PV System on the roof of Marbles Kids Museum. Provide approximately 120kW AC, 105 kW DC PV System on the roof of IMAX Theater. The meeting is to identify preferred brand alternates and their performance standards pertinent to this project. In accordance with GS133-3, the following preferred brand item is being considered as an Alternate by the Owner for this project: Preferred Brand Add Alternate No. 1: Solar Photovoltaic Equipment - Provide the Owner's preferred alternate for all solar photovoltaic equipment and start-up services, including but not limited to: power optimizers, combiners, and inverters with SolarEdge Technologies, Inc. being the Owner's preferred manufacturer. Wake County provides minorities and women equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of its construction program consistent with NCGS 143-8. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program, as outlined in Section 000900 of the Project Manual. Wake County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
