As of February 20, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. This project consists of repairing and upgrading the eastern 1.95 miles of the CCC Road, a State Forest Highway that serves as access to Coolidge West State Forest and a travel corridor between Shrewsbury and Plymouth, VT. Repairs will be made to damaged sections from the July 2023 Flood, and upgrades will be made to meet Clean Water Quality Standards. The scope includes work in three categories: Ditches, Culverts, and Road Resurfacing. Requirements also include mobilization, erosion control, and disposal of excess material. Work locations are flagged and correspond to the attached map and field data sheets. The contractor is responsible for mobilization according to state standards, equipment cleaning to prevent the spread of invasive plants, operational requirements covering work seasons and road closures, and proper disposal of excess and potentially invasive material. Detailed standards for ditching, culvert installation (including stone head walls and outlet walls), and resurfacing are provided, with prescribed materials, methods, and schedules. The work is split into separate bid portions for FEMA-funded flood repairs and CWF-funded additional upgrades, with time and materials for each to be bid separately as shown in the price schedule. Work must comply with "Standard Specifications for Road Construction and Maintenance Practices on Agency of Natural Resources Lands" and all additional requirements described. The bidder must ensure compliance with all instructions and requirements, including digital submission and bonding, and is responsible for all expenses related to the bid preparation and any required presentations.
