As of February 20th, the project is going to continue without sitework at this time. It is unknown if it will rebid in the future. Bids are invited for five separate prime contracts: General Trades Contract #301, Mechanical (HVAC) Contract #302, Plumbing Contract #303, Electrical Contract #304, and Sitework Contract #305 for the 2024 Capital Facilities Improvement Project at Council Rock Primary School. Bids must be prepared according to the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS," and submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, and the title of the work. Each bid must include security of at least five percent (5%) of the base bid in the prescribed form. No bid may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids, and may disqualify bidders for failure to comply with the "INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS" and "SUPPLEMENTARY INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS." Attention is called to the Owner's sales tax exemption, conditions of employment, and minimum wage rates. Bidder qualification requirements include bonding and insurance, financial statements, bank references, legal proceedings, surety's intent to issue Performance and Payment Bonds, and descriptions of similar projects completed. Bidding documents are available for a refundable deposit. Partial reimbursement is provided upon return of documents in good condition for unsuccessful or non-bidders.
