Renovation of a mixed-use development in Norwalk, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; educational facility; and educational facility.

This project includes, but is not limited to, Contractor-Furnished Contractor-Installed (CFCI), Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) CMAS materials, and equipment necessary to install a complete 2-ply modified bituminous roof system and 2-ply KEE hybrid roof system over the properly prepared substrate on permanent buildings, covered walkways, and portable buildings; replacing gutters and downspouts; and repairing fascia boards, soffits, and roof decks. Some hazardous materials abatement work may be required. All bids shall be made and presented only on the forms provided. It is the sole responsibility of bidders to ensure their bid is timely delivered and received at the designated location. Any bid received after the scheduled closing time will be returned unopened. Additive and/or deductive alternates must be priced as part of the bid. Each bidder must submit with its bid a list of designated subcontractors as required. Pre-qualification requirements: Attendance at both mandatory pre-bid job walks is required. Prospective bidders must submit a completed set of prequalification documents on forms provided. Prequalification is required to bid. Each bidder must possess a valid and active Class B and/or C39 License at the time of award and throughout the duration of the contract. Subcontractors must be licensed pursuant to California law. Bidders must provide required bidder's security. Compliance with prevailing wage laws is mandatory. Contractors and listed subcontractors must not be debarred or suspended. Registration with the DIR and qualification to perform public work is required. Separate payment and performance bonds each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount are required. 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation goals apply. No bidder may withdraw a bid for ninety calendar days after the bid opening date. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding.
